Lauren Diaz, Senior Litigation Paralegal

Lauren Diaz joined Hersh and Hersh in 2014 and is currently our Senior Litigation Paralegal. After obtaining her paralegal degree over 15 years ago, she followed her passion in plaintiff-side litigation. Lauren has extensive litigation experience and has assisted in many trials across the state of California. In 2011 Lauren was awarded for her Academic Achievements and Professional Accomplishments by the National Paralegal Honor Society – Lambda Epsilon Chi. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Sarai Chicas – Litigation Paralegal

Sarai Chicas joined the team in 2018.  She is a value-driven litigation paralegal with experience successfully supporting and managing the caseloads of multiple attorneys.  Her skills include adeptly navigating the management of client deadlines, communication among parties, managing and negotiating liens, and document filings in federal and state courts. Sarai holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from San Francisco State University. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding and exploring San Francisco.

Natalia Melendez – Administrator

Natalia Melendez joined Hersh and Hersh in 2012.  Natalia brings over 25 years’ experience in accounting. Natalia is a highly organized principal administrator, skilled in managing multiple projects and maintaining accurate records.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling and taking her dog Roxy on long walks.

Natalie Smith – Paralegal

Natalie Smith is a multi-lingual, effective, and detail-oriented paralegal with experience in civil rights litigation, out-of-court settlements, and negotiations. Since joining Hersh & Hersh in 2022, she has managed client-attorney relations by specializing in the discovery process. Her interpersonal skills help clients manage timelines and complete discovery documents. Natalie holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Justus-Liebig-Universität in Giessen, Germany, and a Master’s degree from the University of Montana. In her spare time, Natalie exhibits her artwork and can be found carving turns on the snowy terrain.

Patricia Diaz joined Hersh and Hersh in 2022. Patricia brings over 6 years of experience in litigation and a love for assisting Clients, making her a valuable asset to our team. In her free time she enjoys seeing live music and traveling.
