Our Record of Success

In 2011, Hersh & Hersh secured a major settlement for a man who suffered a debilitating injury after he was rear-ended on a highway. He suffered what is called Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, a newly-understood area of medical diagnosis. We are one of the first law firms in the country to establish this injury in litigation. Our law firm established through expert testimony that he had suffered a serious trauma to the brain on impact, even though he had not lost consciousness and his MRI after the accident was normal. He had memory loss, dizziness, headache, balance problems and other issues. The settlement in this case is confidential and substantial.

Hersh & Hersh recovered 2.9 million against Caltrans for a client who was severely injured after a motorist traveling westbound on Interstate 80 in Solano County lost control of his truck and crossed over the median into our client’s eastbound car. Hersh & Hersh claimed that Caltrans failed to provide a safe and effective median barrier along Interstate 80 in Solano County to prevent cross-over accidents like this from occurring. The case was settled prior to trial.

Hersh & Hersh represented a woman who was seriously injured after her car was hit head-on by another car on Lakeville Highway in Sonoma County. Hersh & Hersh sued the driver and owner of the other car for our client’s injuries and brought the case to a successful resolution on her behalf.
